Roshini9 Posted February 23, 2013 Report Posted February 23, 2013 Hi All, My salary per year according to my h1b is 50k but my employer pays me more than that ($70k) as some amount in bonus term in paychecks.. is this normal? Taxes are cut on the whole pay though. Thx, Rosh
cobra1232 Posted February 23, 2013 Report Posted February 23, 2013 This should be fine. As far as your W2 earnings are equal/greater than the salary mentioned on your LCA, there is no need to worry.
Roshini9 Posted February 25, 2013 Author Report Posted February 25, 2013 Btw what do I reply if the VO asks fluctuation in the salary? I've been taking leave every now and then
cobra1232 Posted February 25, 2013 Report Posted February 25, 2013 Minor fluctations are ok. And if it is a big gap, i would take documentation supporting that. Say for e.g Unpaid vacation. If it is something else then not sure.
