pintureddy72 Posted February 21, 2013 Report Posted February 21, 2013 Hi, Please respond. I know similar questions been asked before but I have some unique situation. Got a job in 2009 on OPT. H1 approved same year but lost job in Sepetember 2009. Never worked on that H1 with that employer. Joined second masters program to be on status. My question is if I find a job and employer to apply H1B this year, do I still come under this year's cap or I can apply/reinstate anytime and not worry about this year quota at all since I had a H1B approved in 2009. Please advise as this is very very important to me.
