No Experience Letters for Green Card

Hi,

I am planning to start my green card process, so i have to start applying for labor. Before that I need your suggestion regarding experience letters. I worked for my previous employer (consultancy) for a year and had to quit because of some complications. I am sure he won't provide me an employment letter. How can I get out of this problem. I did work for my previous employer in OPT, is it good if I don't mention my experience in application.

What should I do now.
