mane Posted February 15, 2013 Report Posted February 15, 2013 Hello, Can anyone tell me where to find a form to designate an Attorney to represent my case. I've got 221g Yellow on 10th Dec and it has been more than 2 months. My Company Attorney couldn't inquiry about my Visa Application as she is not designated for my visa stamping case but for my H1B Petition from my employeer, so she can't ask anything from Consulate or DOS about my case. Please let me know if anyone have an idea about it? Regards, Enam
Attorney_11 Posted February 15, 2013 Report Posted February 15, 2013 Generally, the US Department of State Consulates and Embassies may communicate with an attorney regarding a visa application process if a USCIS Form G-28 is submitted to them, along with a letter from the applicant authorizing the attorney to communicate with the consulate or embassy on behalf of the applicant. However, each consulate or embassy has its own procedures, and it is advisable to communicate with them directly to determine what their policy is regarding communicating with authorized representatives.
