F1 visa renewal - chances of 221g admin processing again ?

Im in a Microbiology PhD program and my F-1 visa expired in 2011. Im going to India in March 2013 for a couple of weeks and will be getting my F-1 renewed. my I-20 expires in June 2013. Im in good standing at the university. My previous visa underwent 221g processing and has "Clearance received " annotation. So, I am not eligible for the dropbox option.

i m going back to the same program and the same university, will i get a 221g background check once again during renewal?

nobody knows what will happen. If someone is in a similar situation, please let me know what happened in your case.
