First Time F1->H1B stamping after 7 years, can i go mexico Tijuana

some posts i read says i cannot attend mexico for first time F1->H1B, can i go mexico or no, please clarify

Hey,

You cannot go to Mexico for a status change like F1 to H1. Mexico now only allows visa renewals but not change of status. You can go to Canada.
