Successful Visa Interview at Ottawa

Hi,

First of all thanks to MurthyForum and the friends who shared their Visa experiences on it.

I had a visa interview at Ottawa on 14th Feb. I am on EVC model and get approved.

These are the questions asked.

You did MS. in US?

Yes

Which field?

CS.

Do you have any vendor between client and employer?

Yes

Do you have letter from Employer, Vendor and Client?

Yes

Who was your previous employer?

XXX

Who is your current employer?

YYY

Do you work at client place?

Yes

Whom do you report and how?

Employer Manager discuss with Client manager and then Employer manager assigns work to me. By Weekly status call, Video Conference etc..

And He said, I am approving your visa but I am not sure your information in PIMS database is updated or not. He gave me a page to track the passport for Loomis branch. He said It might get updated tomorrow or next week.

Couple of things I want to ask,

1) He took my passport, Employer, Vendor and Client letter. Is it common to take these letters by VO?

2) He gave my I-797 back after my interview done. I heard they keep it with them and you will get it when you pickup your passport from Loomis.

3) At the End of the day still status shows on CEAC "Administrative Processing". How long it will take to get updated?
