anarveka Posted February 14, 2013 Report Share Posted February 14, 2013 Hi all, We are in process of filling for I-485 and looking for civil surgeons for medical exam.Can anyone guide urgently if , 1. We live in tri-state area, so is it mandatory to go to the local civil surgeon only or we can opt for anyone from nearby state also ? 2. Can we go to more than one civil surgeon in case we are not satisfied with the results ? Please can anyone reply urgently ? Thanks. Link to comment

As you might know that after the health test, they will give you a covered envelopel which you need to submit to USCIS..you wouldnt find out the contents of your test. Wrong. CS must give a copy of the report to you. That is the law. Some people goes to shady CS who violates the law ... : ) Link to comment
finn Posted February 15, 2013 Report Share Posted February 15, 2013 omshiv: I guess it depens on the surgeon. The civil surgeon that did my test gave me a copy of the results too. I received two sealed envelopes: One for me and one for USCIS. The one for USCIS was stamped DO NOT OPEN in order to prevent the mistake of the recipient accidentally opening thus voiding it.
