jainee Posted February 11, 2013 Report Posted February 11, 2013 I recently joined an employer A for a client B at location X. HR asked me to resign and move to location X. While I was in the process of movement, employer told me the client B the project scraped and I do not need to go location X HR asked me to move to family at location Y while we find another project. I have H1 and LCA for location X, and my payroll was running for location Y. I do not have LCA for location Y. Employer A found out this is a compliance issue, they stopped my payroll and asked me to move to India in a weeks time. I want to know what are my options. If its goin to affect my legal status in US, and if its goin ato affect my future travel/visa for US. I want to know how to proceed with correction of this situation, and what are my rights. Employer is not cooperating in helping out fixing the situation. I would like to know the deapth of sitiation and what would be my best bet to save my career.
