ganram1 Posted February 11, 2013 Report Posted February 11, 2013 I have my EAD from EB3 filing (PD- 7/15/2006) from my prior employer. My new employer re-filed my case for EB2 (similar job, different company) and I have my EB2 I-140 with the PD ported (7/15/2006). I am waiting for the visa dates to become available. I am hearing from other forums that my old I485 (from my prior employer) will/can be interlinked with my current EB2 I-140 from current employer and I dont need to file I485 again. My question is, if I dont need to file a I485, can I change my employer now (quick my current employer and join a new company?)? Would that affect my EB2 -PD 7/15/2006 status in any way? Is there anything else i need to do to change my employer? Please advise.
