Vancouver Accommodation @ February 22

I have a visa appointment on Feb 22, 2013 and would be willing to share accommodation from Feb 21 - Feb 27 or so. When did you book your interview dates? Do you remember, how soon the dates were available, and also, do you remember, how long in the future the dates were available? I am just trying to understand the date availability at Vancouver consulate, without having to submit the DS-160.

@ Hank_82 - The earliest available date that I see at Vancouver is atleast approx 120+ days from now. This figure keeps changing continuously as in when any new appointments are made and few confirmed appointments cancelled. Your best bet would to submit DS160, pay MRV fee ($190 for H1B) and then keeping an eye out for available dates at your preferred Consulate multiple times a day. I am sure if you check calendar multiple times a day (say atleast 10-12 times a day) you will be able to lock in a preferred date. You can always reschedule your appointment if you get another desirable date without incurring any additional cancellation/reschduling fee. I believe there is no cap to the number of times one can reschedule their visa appointment, perhaps at the same Consulate location.
