jan7th Posted February 11, 2013 Report Posted February 11, 2013 Hello Everyone, I observed about 4 H1-B people's visa interview before mine everyone is approved but they were standing there for more than 10 min's answering questions mostly about what kind of work they do and about their education background. But, mine was very short interview below are the questions. 1. Are you working for XXX? Ans :Yes 2. What does your company do? Ans : It provides consulting services to It's clients. 3. Who is your Client? Ans: YYY 4. What does they do? Ans: Develop Software products 5. How long is the contract? And: Z Years 6. So, you came to US as a student right? Ans : Yes 7. What did you do in school? Ans: Masters in Computer Information Systems at ---- Univ. in __ State. Thank you very much for the people who shared their experience earlier that helped me a lot. I had my interview today in the morning and VO said, Visa is approved and I will get the passport in 3-5 days but When I check the status online its showing 'Admin Processing'.He didn't give me any forms, just gave me a loomis information. 1.What is your designation? 2. what does your company do? 3. whats your highest degree? 4. whats your specialization? 5.How long your are working for them and asked LCA & W2? I gave my LCA & W2 and he returned the LCA & W2. I am worrying about that status message. Does any know, why the status message showing like that even the VO approved the Visa? Does it take some more time to update the status in the website?

Chito, I believe the status after the interview when the Visa is approved is "Admin Processing" after which it is changed to "Issued" in a couple of days.....so its just the procedure and nothing to worry about....

jan7th Posted February 12, 2013 Author Report Posted February 12, 2013 Chito, I believe the status after the interview when the Visa is approved is "Admin Processing" after which it is changed to "Issued" in a couple of days.....so its just the procedure and nothing to worry about.... I juste checked mine and it is showing as "Admin Processing". So, Let's see what will happen in a day or two.

FYI : It will take 3 business days to get your passport back like if you have your appointment on Monday you will get your waybill number late Wednesday night and you can receive your passport next day in the morning after 8.00AM.
