Do they have mutual agreement? Do the new employer needs consent letter from the old employer even when the employee doesn't work any more for the old employer? It sounds like a little bit different though. Any idea folks?
t75 Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 The new employer files for you if you do not have any contractual obligations to your current one that would prevent you from doing so. You resign from the current employer per the proper procedure; you start work with new employer. If you do not understand your contracts, take them to an attorney for an explanation
