got 221g blue slip in mumbai on 7th feb 2013

Hi friends,

I got 221g blue slip on 7th Feb 2013 in mumbai consulate. They are asking for below documents to be dropped off at dropbox location.

* set of document submitted to USCIS ( used for h1b petition )

* oraganization chart

* list of employee with all the details (client location ,status, wages etc )

* client letter and contract documents

I have all these documents. Now my question is mentioned below.

1) do i need to submit the passport? they did not mention that in 221g blue form they give to me.

2) I called call center and they said it will take max 60 days to update the status once you submit the document. I will drop the documents in 2 days to mumbai dropbox. any one is having experience with same case?

anyone is having recent experience with 221g ? please share your experience here.

I have submitted the documents on 15th feb and as per the customer support team, they have been received by consulate office. now waiting for updates from consulate. has any one recently heard anything on 221g ( h1b) from consulate? just want to see timeline after new dropbox process took place..Please update this thread if u got 221g in mumbai...

what happened to your case ? I am still waiting on mine since march 4'th 221g blue.
