vinuphilly Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 Freinds, I am having L1B visa valid upto Nov14 ' 2013 and I-94 valid upto jan '2016, Can I apply for L1B Extension although I have got I-94 till Jan'2016 I want to do that so that I can visit India without any visa issue and come back. OR if Visa Extension is rejected will U.S immigration authorities will reject I-94 date also , Please advice on this.
rajkiran20 Posted February 12, 2013 Report Posted February 12, 2013 1) Yes, your employer can apply for L1B extension based on your I-94 before your current L1B exipres. 2) If your extension rejected that means your i-94 is going to void when you leave country. I-94 doesnt valid once you leave united states. You will get new I-94 based on your 797 and visa .
