Can you still work with old employer once your new H1 is approved

Hi,

I got my new H1b approved at company B but as I cannot leave the old job right away am thinking to work at old company for a week. Is it ok to work at old company and start at new company after a week or 10days from the approval notice.

Can my employer A pay me for those 10days i worked as I have already my H1 approved. Does it have any impact on new H1 at employer B ,
