***Effect Of Location Change on Labor/I-140***

I am struggling with question for a long time with conflicting information.

Actually my company filed for H1-B with LCA associated to office location X. In the same time they also filed for Labor with same location X.

Now, as my project moved totally out of a state to location Y, i have been asked to take a transfer.

But, i have been told/informed that if I change my office location (to one in totally different state), the Labor and I-140 have to be filed again (of cource with new LCA).

Can someone comment if above statement is really true? Appreciate any comments/advise.
