Changed Status from B2 to H1B

Hello,

My company applied for an H1B visa on March 2012 then I came to US on my B1/B2 visa on October to prepare my self, renting my car, stay a while before working, then my company applied for change of status and the H1B approval came on December 20, 2012.

The company's attorney said that now I can work legal starting from that date although the I-797 form was not sent yet.

So I am working with the company from December 20 till now without this form and the company send me a check every 2 weeks.

I have another job offer and I want to transfer my sponsor before signing the contract with the company I am working with now. Can I do that?
