H1-B start date(with extension) prior to current H1-B expiration date

Hi,

Is it possible to select a start date with H1-B extension prior to current H1-B expiration date.

Example : if current H1-B expiration date is 05/31/2013 , is there an option to apply for H1-B extension with a start date of 03/30/2013

It's a tricky question. Multiple H1b filing is not permitted for same employee. Wait for other replies and contact your HR/ attorney.
