Sudhakar0204 Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 Hi I was given with a 221 G form saying that i don't have technical academic background and the consulate officer wants to recheck the relevance between my academic qualification and H1b employment. i attended the interview on 17th Jan at chennai location. Hearing that the US consulate has come up with a change in 221G process, that in 60 days they will clear the 221G queries put. 1. Does any one have an idea on what they are going to bring in to? In my case they didn't ask for any additional documents but kept my original post graduate certificate, foreign degree evaluation, client documents. 2. Does any one have experience on these kind of queries and how long it might take ( just an approximate time frame) Regards
Sudhakar0204 Posted January 25, 2013 Author Report Posted January 25, 2013 I did my masters in business administration with finance specialisation and at my graduation level i had bachelors degree in commerce. Had a certification from oracle as certified finance functional consultant. These qualifications are more relevant for the field in which i am working in (Oracle ERP financials functional consultnat) for the last 9 years. Regards Sudhakar What are your qualifications?

Just collected my original PG certifacte, marks memo, foreign degree evaluation certificate and client related documents. No update as yet. The query they put on my case is "Relevance between my academic qualification and H1b employment (since i am from a non technical academic back ground, did my MBA and Bcom at graduation certificate)".
