sd45409 Posted January 23, 2013 Report Posted January 23, 2013 Hi all, I'm planning on applying a visitor visa for my father. He is a retired school teacher. My mother passed away couple of years ago. I have two elder sisters who are married and have kids. I have seen some of the posts mentioning if the person applying for a visitor visa is retired or widowed it is difficult to get a visa. I am on my OPT right now and I want my father to visit me for 1-2 months this summer. I am planning on getting married and I want my father to be here. Can anyone please suggest me how to convince VO that my father has no intension to immigrate. Any suggestions please.
