GreenCard on Medical Ground

I came to US in 2009 on L1-B Visa, Last year my employer applied for my L1-A which got few RFE's and same time they applied my H1-B. Fortunately I got first my L1A and after 2 week H1-B also. My daughter is 90% medically disabled (Physically & mentally). Her medical treatment is going on here which will be continue for life long.

I have two questions here

1. Can I apply for GC on behalf of my daughters medical ground.

2. My which visa will be valid now L1A or H1B.

-- Thanks

There is a process for permanent residency (green card) for medical reasons, but it is for (1) cases of taking care of a U.S. citizen, and (2) very hard to get (special petition adjudicated on one case by one case basis). You would need to work with an qualified, experience immigration attorney in this area.

Hi Sir,

We moved here on l1b visa from July 2011 of my husband and we had our 1st child(daughter) born in USA

But my daughter is 99% disable(physically +mentally) and also in hospice care

Now issue is my husband's green card being filled from his company and this year he applied for H1b but it's not picked up in lottery

Next year will be his last chance for H1b so we wanted to check is there any way to get green card on basis of my daughter's medical ground. She is citizen of USA and her complete medical team is ready to help her for anything they can do for her.

Pls advice us what we can do in such scenario. Thank you in advance
