Question regarding the port of entry with approved H1B

Guys,

I came to INDIA in June,2011 and attended VISA stamping through company A. I was given a 221g and i was stuck here since then. I joined an Indian firm in the mean while. I applied for an H1 transfer from Company A to B last year. I got my visa stamped in Nov,2012. I am travelling to USA and port of entry would be Chicago in the first week of Feb as I has to serve the 2 months notice period for the Indian firm.

1. Would they ask me why it took me 2 months to travel after my VISA got stamped ?

2. Also, the client letter i was give is dated as Nov,2012, would this be a problem ?

3. Do i need to get a new employment verification letter from my employer ?

My model EC model(Employer-Client).

Any replies are helpful and appreciated ?

1. Once you get the visa, you can enter into US at any time

3.Yes. It's always good to have latest emp letter.
