i was rejected f1 visa once. what should i explain??

I would recommend writing the truth. and in explanation, tell that F1 was refused. An immigration question is most probably related to GC. it is just my perception but seek a legal advice if u are too much concerned coz it depends on your employer and various things that make ur case strong.

For your questions no. 1, be honest and explain. Just mention that F1 visa rejected on so and so date, month and year. If there is anything like I-797 receipt no. (used in case of H-1B visa), mention that there as well.

I have seen for my cousin where both these cases were true. She did put a Yes in both questions and she got the visa.

Select yes, and mention as F1 rejection on xx/xxx under 214b.

No issues with stamping for me.

I don't remember the reason for f1 refusal it's been long time.i got approved the f1 second time.
