Lost job after 221 (g)

Hi,

I had H1B visa interview in September 2012 and was given 221 (g). I lost my job now while the background check is still under process. During my visa interview I was told that they are going to check if my client letter is fake or not. As I lost my job, Is there any possibility I may get H1B Visa? What can I do legally since the delay in issuing my visa is the reason for losing my job.

You cannot do anything except look for a new H1 sponsor.

Does the consulate let me know if they reject/deny my H1B visa? I guess if they consulate takes more than 6 months to investigate, it doesn't make sense for new H1.

If you are working as a consultant then, go for full time employment(FTE).
