H1B Visa Stamping

Hi ,

Due to emergency situations i need to come to India .

I need to do my H1B Stamping and i see Vancouver Dates are not available untill May.

Could you please suggest me some of the good US consulates for H1B Stamping which are liberal (either in India or Canada) so that i can Book a slot

I need to Book a slot in Feb 2013 and i am not sure where to Book a slot as there are no dates available in Canada and am not sure about India.

Currently my H1B Amendment is in process and can i filll my DS 160 with the I797 that i have or do i need to wait untill my H1B Amendment process to be completed?

Please share your thoughts as to which one is the best one to Book a slot other than Vancouver and if there are any dates available.

Try Halifax consulate in Canada. When I was looking at it yesterday, I found dates available even within 7 days. The latest at Calgary is March 26th.

Look for the dates everyday. You can find in Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa

Hello Folks

I am struggling on the consular websites to understand when the earliest available appointment is. can anybody help me? I clicked on the schedule appointment link on the Ottawa Consular site - takes me to a CSC website. Do i need to create an account, pay fees and complete a DS160 before seeing earliest availability? I am trying to decide between Canada, Mexico and Brazil - and I need to do so in quick notice.
