Hi All,

I have an issue, please help me out whoever have faced this or know's a solution to this problem:

I'm planning to go for H1-B VISA stamping sometime around March 2013 to Canada hopefully Vancouvre. I did my Masters from US.

The problem is My employer did not send duplicate petitions to USCIS at the time of H1-B filing, were the duplicate is supposed to go to KCC after the petition approval, I guess my employer was too lazy and was only interested in money as all the employers, but I was happy that my H1 was approved "sighs".

So anyways! now is there a solution for this ? can this mistake be rectified before I goto canada for stamping ?

As I hear stories about people staying in Canada for about 2 - 3 weeks due to PIM's verfication. Guys! please help me out here as I don't want to stay in Canada that long because my dad is not rich like you guys who come here for Masters "jking"

Really appreciate it, if somebody cares to look at my post and take sometime in their busy lifes to reply.

How do you know that??? Did your employer told you?

There is nothing you can do for PIMS verification. I had PIMS verification during my interview, but got my passport within 2 days.

"As I hear stories about people staying in Canada for about 2 - 3 weeks due to PIM's verfication." (yeah they are stories, it doesn't take 2-3 weeks)

PIMS isn't in your hands, just go for the stamping.

"I'm planning to go for H1-B VISA stamping sometime around March 2013 to Canada hopefully Vancouvre."

Vancouver dates are hard to find, Write now only May slots are available.

"I guess my employer was too lazy and was only interested in money as all the employers"

I guess you didn't even ask your employer to send a duplicate to USCIS while applying your petition, and i guess you didn't even know about PIMS while applying your H1. "jking"

Congrats for your H1 from your Lazy employer. "again jking"

I did my Masters from US.

Try this, you will not get any reply...but some say it may work.

Note: They get same format from all of Murthy forum aspirants every day.

and donot send multiple emails requesting PIMS Update.

I had my Visa interview on 7th and got NO PIMS issued on my DS 160 form. Received my passport today. So dont worry even if your petition is not in PIMS database you might get delayed by one or two days max at Vancouver.

""Can I check the Petition Information Management Service (PIMS)in advance?

No, you cannot check it in advance. The officer will verify the details on the day of your appointment. PIMS updates usually take 2-3 days; there is no way to expedite this process.""

Quote from US Consulate.

I got PIMS not found and it was cleared in 2 days. However my petition was just approved a week before that. I believe by the time you plan on going in March, it should already be in the system. If not, it will not take you very long.
