H1B visa stamping

Hello,

I have a H1b stamping scheduled for Jan in Calgary, and I would appreciate if the moderator/experienced to answer my questions, since I couldn't find an appropriate answer in the forum.

1. When the H1B was filed I worked at the client location A on corp to corp basis in virginia, and now im with the same client in Texas. a. Do I need an amendment to H1B approval?

b. What if I do not do the amendment to H1B approval?

c. Will I need amendment to the H1B if I had to move back to Virginia with the same client? or may be different client?

d. No where on the H1B approval does it say that the H1B approval was given for the location Virgina, so why an h1 amendment?

2. Im having 2 tiers in between in my job to bill for my hours. Is it safe for H1 stamping since there are 2 tiers?

3. My project ends in 2 months, will this be an issue for the H1b stamping?

4. I was on the bench for 3 months though there was salary processed for me. - Is this an issue for consultants?

d.H1B approval (797) will have the sponsor's name on it, not the client name. During your H1 filing, your employer will mention that you will be working at client's location, now that location has been changed. So you need amendment. Remember, any material change in your petition needs amendment.
