Principal Applicant with EAD/AP and Dependent on H4 at POE any issues?

Hello All,

can a Principal Applicant using advanced parole and dependent/Spouse with valid H4 visa stamp in passport enter the USA at same port of entry in same queue one after other? will there be any issues at port of entry?

I spoke with immigration attorney he said "If she has AP, better use the same. Or they may give you hard time if you travel together."

which doesn't make sense. Any one traveled in the same situation like me please comment?

To all who is reading this thread myself (H1B valid petition/No H1B visa stamp/Have valid I-797 & EAD/AP) and my wife who received H4 visa successfully were able to enter USA together at JFK. It is also confirmed my CBP department that we have valid documents to enter USA.

Hi Ariean,

What documents did they ask at the Port of Entry (JFK). I am in a similar situation - i have a valid h1 and h4 for wife. I am using AP and my wife using H4. Hopefully that doesnot create issues.
