gjr520
Hello, I had Change of status from F-1 to h-1 in 2012 . My labor/perm and I-140 is approved in may 2012 in my f-1 Status while I was in OPT, but my h1b started from Oct 2012. I have my visa appointment in January in canada .What would be my Chance of Getting visa Approved .is it good or bad that i have started my GC process and so far approved ????? with out being h1b stamped so far. thanks Reddy Link to comment
shandan
H1 is a dual intent VISA, so the GC process should not adversly affect your H1B stamping. What I am curious about is since while on OPT you are still considered on F1 student which is a non-immigrant VISA, you got your PERM and I-140 approved. Interesting. Link to comment
