EAD Renew - Marital Status

Hello All,

I have my EAD which is valid until Apr/2013, i am planning to apply for EAD renew in Jan/13, however, when i filed my I-485 i was single and marital status was selected as single, but i am married recently and my wife is in states on H-4 and I am on H-1B, the question is, i think i need to select my marital status as married, but not sure if i also need to attach marriage certificate along with other documents required for EAD approval? could someone please help me in this regard? Thanks

It will not hurt. You can write a small note that your marital status has changed since you filed your original 1-485.

Since it does not change your case in any way, I would just leave it alone. Your application was true when filed, and that's enough (in your case).
