Transfer H1b after I-140 approves

Hi,

My case is, i have visa upto 2013 aug. (after this i have 1 more year for my h1b 6 years period). and got approved I-140 with my current employer.

If i move to new employer, how many years i ll get visa and new employer is applying for GC.

Will i get 3 years visa since i already got approved I-140

Hi Nag,

I was in same situation last year. I got three year H1B extension. In my opinion, there are many other factors as well that determine period of H1B extension. But having approved i-140 is the prerequisite for 3 year H1B extension. I would say the probability of getting 3 year H1B ext is high.
