Hello friends

I am on H1B and AOS is pending.

Now if I move, does AR 11 automatically updates address on I-485 as well as my all other pending applications such as EAD/AP renewal? or there is a separate form for each application?

Filing AR-11 does not change address on your pending petitions. Once you fill AR-11 online it will ask you if you have any pending petitions with USCIS for which the address needs to be updated, you should say Yes and follow the process.

While filling form AR-11, you need to provide the EAC/LIN/xxx number of each application you need the address to be updated on.

There is no separate form. After you update your address using AR-11, in the same webpage if you scroll down, it says "update your pending petitions with the new address". Use that link/option to update the address on all the pending petition.

Does this change take place automatically when you move to new address the moment you arrive at airport or put in new address o on I94? or one still has to do AR 11?

From personal expereince; I did not file AR11 electronically but sent in by snail mail (it was about 5 years back - I dont know why I did it but that is irrelevant). I would sent it electronically and keep the proof. I had been giving my new address in the I94 when I entered the country and also giving my updated dates in the EAD and AP renewals since 2007-2012. (Now I know people are going to say that these are separate applications and changing address in one will not update the other - I understand that and that is the unfortunate part. All of these applications are goverened by one A number - could they not have programmed it to update the address in other applications when a subsequent 765/131 has a new address? Anyway, I digress)

However when my GC got approved in OCt; my wife's address in her 485 was not updated. It still had the old address, The welcome letter and GC both went to that address. The current occupants of my old address are also from India and the postman could not tell the difference! Fortunately, they contacted us through linked in and gave us the GC. But PLEASE use AR 11 and then call up to change it by using their customer service. The automatic thing does not happen.
