Employer change after stamping? Urgent...

Hi guys,

I have VISA Stamping on XYZ company but now I willing to change my employer to some ABC company.

So my stamping still valid after employer change and If I go to India and come back is there any problem in port of entry.

And do I need to go to VISA stamping again on new employer.

Please let me know guys. Its urgent. Thanksin advance.

No. As long as you've valid visa stamp on your passport, regardless of which company, you can come back with that H1B stamp & show your latest ABC company's I-797.

There are 1000s of post for the same question, you would have search it before & you might have received answers early rather than just posting here.

A new visa stamp for the new employer is possible if you insist though not mandatory.

If you are transferring your H1 from employer XYZ to ABC. Then yes you have to go through stamping.

but its always goo to discuss with lawyer. Good luck

if you valid visa stamp, and you have all documents, you are good to change. no need to go for stamping again.

You need non expired visa and petition from new employer. I did same thing last time at SFO reentry without any problem.
