COS to B2 gets approved after I returned on H1B status

Hi All,

I was on a L1 visa and transferred to a B2 temporarily(COS was pending) till I got a job and left the country(COS still pending) to get the H1 visa stamp.

I got the visa and returned back on the H1 status and now last week the COS to B2 has come through as approved. Does this mean that this B2 status is now my current status or am I still on H1 given that I last entered on H1.

Have your lawyer inform them about the matter. The COS to B2 is by error and your H1 status should stand.
