pontevecchio
1. Do you have a Canadian Visa? 2. If it is your own car , have you got a carnet for insurance purposes from AAA? 3. Travel light. Why would you need a lot of luggage? 4. You will get a new I94 card when you come back and can hand over the old one when you return. YOU HAVE TO STOP AND ASK FOR A NEW I94 at the US post assuming the H1 visa has been issued. Link to comment
kbknaidu
1. Do you have a Canadian Visa? Yeah sir I got the Canada visa 2. If it is your own car , have you got a carnet for insurance purposes from AAA? My insurance is guyco can I get it from them or only it us from AAA as you said ?? And if I don't take it any problem at the port of entry ?? 3. Travel light. Why would you need a lot of luggage? Assume I trvel light if some thing goes wrong at h1 stamping who is going to responsible for the luggage even I want to go light sir but things may turn in to any side right so got scared and taking all my luggage like a real international tour 4. You will get a new I94 card when you come back and can hand over the old one when you return. YOU HAVE TO STOP AND ASK FOR A NEW I94 at the US post assuming the H1 visa has been issued. Thanks for the info sir I didn't know this lot of forum guys said you have to give it at the Canada border crossing even if they don't ask us !! So that is wrong right ??? Link to comment
pontevecchio
If you have GEICO insurance log in and look for Canadian Insurance and they will send you a card. Secondly go easy on the Sir as it conveys the wrong impression. Yes, when you cross the border by car the first point of contact is a Canadian Immigration Officer in a booth. Why would he take your I94? Secondly most people use AVR and do not give their I94. A nurse working for a regular Hospital will HAVE NO problems. Link to comment
True9999
10 years back my wife do not have i-94 while crossing canadian boarder from USA. They sent her back and after week she got new I-94. Now she got GC, whenever she cross boarder they are pulling at booth asking us to go to big building , after verification they are allowing to canada. SInce its minor isssue and 10 year old , it there any posibility we can get rid of it. Link to comment
