maddir
My employer did not pay me for the past 2 months although he was running my paystubs. He paid me for the current month. Will the VO ask for Bank Statements. How should I support if the VO asks me for no deposits for 2months. Can I say I got paid in cash. Note: My employer is paying taxes on time and I have all the paystubs. Link to comment
arun45
Show him however you got paid.. like direct paycheck mailed to you, if available. If you have timesheets, showing them will help as well. Link to comment
JoeF
My employer did not pay me for the past 2 months although he was running my paystubs. What do you mean with "running the paystubs"? You need to get paid for real. Even if it was cash, there would have to be a written record of it. Link to comment

rahul412
My employer is paying taxes on time and I have all the paystubs. This is want they need. But not getting paid may cause you trouble during the interview. Link to comment
rahul412
Thanks for the response. I will show my timesheets. Showing timesheets won't work. You need to have real paystubs. I don't understand when your employer is running the paystubs why are you not getting paid?? Link to comment

What will be a written record for cash payments? Link to comment

He was unable to pay as his Vendor did not pay him a huge amount. But he will be paying it now Link to comment

JoeF
He is just delayed my payments. He did not pay me on time. You absolutely have to get paid on time. No exceptions. This is going to cause problems. What will be a written record for cash payments? Things like a receipt. Link to comment

He was unable to pay as his Vendor did not pay him a huge amount. But he will be paying it now If you say like that then your visa will be rejected, stating that "Your employer doesn't have enough revenue to pay their employees". But one thing is for sure. There is something wrong with your employer, its better to change the employer before things become worse. Link to comment
JoeF
instead of saying not getting paid it will be appropriate to say its delay of pay. No. On H1, the employee has to get paid no less than monthly. Period. No exceptions. It is the LAW! He was unable to pay as his Vendor did not pay him a huge amount. Irrelevant. The employer needs to have enough money to pay his employees, no matter what. People on H1 ALWAYS have to get paid. An employer can not delay salary payments. Link to comment
