Dear All,

As per recent Murthy's Blog , In order to elgible for H1B masters cap, the Masters degree should be from Universities which Must be Public or Other Nonprofit Institution and the institution must also be "accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency or association.

I have been pursuing Masters from University which is accrediated by nationally recognized accrediting agency( Reference DOE's website) but the Univerity with "For Profit" status. My main objective of pursuing this program is that to elgible for EB2 category Green card.

So, my question is whether the same rule that USCIS is using for H1B Masters cap will apply for aspirants like me who is pursuing Masters for EB2 catrgory elgibility ?

Thanks in advance,

Ram
