H1-B Ammendment Necessary

Hi

my h1-b was approved when i was with my previous client. now i am working with different client.

my employer is saying it is not mandatory to have h1 ammendment while going to stamping.

can any one please share the information regarding h1-b ammendment.

As per my knowledge you need to do amedment beacuse you are changing the work location. The VO will look at the LCA and I-129 petetion where you can see the exact location. If both are different that would be a problem.

Hi a999,

You make sure your H1B is am-mended. Even you change a building location of the same Client you needed to do the am-mended. If are going for a Visa make sure that is done before you leave for stamping.

H1b amendment is necessary. Why does your employer not want to do H1b amendment?
