rajesh16reddy Posted November 19, 2012 Report Posted November 19, 2012 Hi, I have booked my appointment at Vancouver for my h1b stamping in Dec 1st week. I have 2 questions: My employment model is EVC. The question here is, the vendor in between the client and my employer, is merging with another company and I have my PO with its old name. Now they are providing the Vendor letter with their new company letter head and are ready to mention that the merger has happened. (it’s not officially announced yet). The question is, will that be fine to have the letter head with new company name and mention its old name in the vendor letter and the client letter.? Should I ask them for any additional documents to show at the consulate If asked? Can I drive my friend’s car to Vancouver for my h1B stamping, or will there be any issues? If not can I take a rental car ? Thanks in advance.
qetuoj@yahoo.ca Posted November 19, 2012 Report Posted November 19, 2012 Rajesh, Do not get afraid of. That is not a problem as long as it is genuine. Enjoy n hv fun..
h1hopes Posted November 19, 2012 Report Posted November 19, 2012 Yes, don't get stressed about the letter. If VO is in doubt, he/she can check directly with client. Until you have valid work it should not be any problem. There can be delay in case of Admin processing, so you need to be aware of that. You have to make arrangements in Canada if your case gets delayed. Plan A, Plan B.... Best luck.
