L1 to H1 Status change Approved but don't want to go on H1...Need help

Need expert advice on below issue

I came to US on L1B from Company A in March 2011, since my VISA was expiring in July 2011 applied for extension and got the approval petition.

Company A got aquired ( Not sure mode of aquisition) by Company B. company Immigration said all L1B need to go back to Home Country for New L1 Stamping. In the mean time i filed L1 Status change to H1 through company C (Small Consulting firm) in 2012, when it was filed i was in US.

I went back to home country for L1 stamping ( with petition from Comapny B, during this, at US consulate they cancelled my old L1B stamp ) got stamping done for L1A and returned to US on Sep 17 2012 with New I94.

Last week i got a message from Company C that my H1 petition got approved and it has new I94.

Now i don't want to change to H1

Which Status is active now..??

What do i need to do..?? i don't want to change to H1 status.
