dream16 Posted February 12, 2013 Report Posted February 12, 2013 File a complaint with DOL on form WH4. A fake leave letter is illegal. I fail to understand 1 thing: how in the WORLD will you prove that it was a "Forced leave" because employer won't email you to ask you to sign it, these things happen via phone call and your request for LOA goes to employer by email.

If you do stuff with your employer by phone, it's your own fault. Always have a paper trail, always confirm things in email. And in any case, if the LOA "magically" matches the end of the project, that's already a bad sign. And if others in the company have the same stuff, that means it is circumstantial evidence... It is not rocket science...

Are you saying that you would be lying to investigators??? Under oath???

OP himself said that his employer forced to sign a letter. During the investigation "TRUTH" will come out.

JoeF Posted February 27, 2013 Report Posted February 27, 2013 well my suggestion here to JeeKop is play it smart or leave to india The only real advice is to file a complaint with DOL on form WH4. That's the only thing that helps. It is also the smart thing to do.
