nimesh Posted November 15, 2012 Report Share Posted November 15, 2012 Hi friends...rightnow I have stamped H1b visa till 2014 with company A. now if I change my employer, I will receive new I797 for new company (company B).. after that if I travel india and come back, does it create any issue at port of entry, if I have visa stamped for company A in passport and have I797 for company B? or do i need to get visa stamp again for company B? please provide me good advice on this.. thank you in advance... SameerH1Bworker Posted November 15, 2012 Report Share Posted November 15, 2012 No issues at all. I did it in past. You just have to show both I-797 and make sure I-94 dates are based on NEW I-797. If it is not same as latest I-797 expiry then ask IO right away. Do not leave counter without checking I-94 dates. Link to comment
