Visa Interview with unapproved amendment.

I have to go to India soon for some reason.

I am applying for amendment of visa today as i recently changed my client.

- Is amendment of visa necessary?

- Is it possible that before amendment approve result comes, I can schedule my stamping interview and go for it. I was thinking to show the confirmation number to prove that i have applied for amendment if some one asks about it.

Premium amendment took only 2 weeks for me, I strongly recommend amendment if you are going to Ottawa consulate

You can not go to interview with just confirmation number.
