Luckychaitu Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 Canada consulate in NY walk-in question: as per the Canada website below children will not normally be admitted to the visa office waiting room.. any experiences please.. Access to waiting room The daily number of applicants cannot be predicted and therefore, dependent children under 18 years of age, who are included on the application for Temporary Resident Visa, are not required for interview. Regrettably, they will not normally be admitted to the visa office waiting room. Kindly do not bring your children to the Consulate. http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/new_york/visas/apply-how_a_demande-comment.aspx?lang=eng&view=d Many thanks..
sb1234 Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 I don't know about NY, but when I went to LA, there were little kids with their parents inside the consulate.
krish8119 Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 I don't think that would be an issue. I think, i saw kids but not sure if they are need or not. It is a small room but you will have space to sit. Go early, it won't take much time and you come out soon. check with others again.
