Hi Everyone,

I have question on paystub's while going to visa stamping. My employer is running perdiem on every paystub. For each paystub he gives 4.5 $ per hour perdiem. I don't have any receipts for that perdiem amount. Please kindly let me know how to answer this question if VO ask me about it.???

Ask your employer, he should know how to answer this question since he knows how to run per-Diem.

Getting per-Diem without solid proof is nothing but inviting trouble.

Per diem without the actual expenses is only done by shady employers, to avoid paying taxes. It does not count as salary, so you risk being below the salary listed on the LCA.

And this fake per diem also causes tax problems for you.

Tell your employer to pay you a salary, not a fake per diem.
