H1B Visa EC Model Question

Hi All,

I will be attending a H1B visa interview from a top desi MNC , CMMI Level 5 say ABC.

During the petition they mentioned XXX client in YYY state.

Now they want me attend the visa interview for AAA client in BBB state.

The docs they will be providing me is

1. Signed SOW between ABC and AAA

2. Manager letter from ABC Vendor.

Note : NO Client Letter

Please give suggestions on following questions.

1. Do i need a updated LCA?

2. Do i need the H1B amendment to be done.

3. Any other docs for this case?

I feel since you don't have client letter better be safe to have other documentation correctly. I don't know how willing the immigration department is for your company.

Hi Ram,

You would need an updated LCA reflecting the new client address for sure. You will also need to get your h1 amendment done so that the I-129 will have the new client address. H1 amendment is definitely good to have given the current visa circumstances. Talk to your attorney on the h1 amendment. ( They usually say if the new client address is more than 50 miles from the current location and if there is change in job responsibilities, you will need a h1 amendment. )
