jpmontoya Posted November 9, 2012 Report Posted November 9, 2012 Hi all, I am anticipating that my Canadian Permanent Residency will be approved within the next year or so. How much of a hassle is it to cross the border with an H-1B? Is it as bad as airport lines? To maintain Canadian Permanent Residency, you have to be in Canada a cumulative total of 730 days every 5 years. I can maintain this and still work on an H-1B if I live in Windsor or Niagara and work in Detroit or Buffalo. Thanks for any answers, JP
