Can we change the employer if we are in india

Hi All,

I had returned back to India on Feb1st 2012, later my visa extension has got approved which is valid till 2014, Dec. As there are no oppurtunities with my current employer and I would like to use my visa thru some other employeer on transfer basis to them and would make a travel to US now. Is it possible to change my current employer to make a travel to US from india.

Find a new H1 sponsor who will file a new non cap H1 petition and on approval get your H1 visa stamp and come over.

You must have approval for new job to enter. You may NOT use existing H1B to enter and then look since you will not be working for that sponsor.
