dpulavarthi Posted November 7, 2012 Report Posted November 7, 2012 Hi, My employer started my green card process and the prevailing wage request came back with more about 40% more wage per year than I currently receive. I have a few questions: 1. The prevailing wage is something I need to start receiving before I move onto the next phase of the green card or is this the pay I should be getting by the time I get the green card (which means 4-5 years from now?) 2. Also, can I switch employers at this point? My 6th year h1 b expires in October 2013 but I've traveled for over 3 months in the last 3 years. Do I need official paper work showing that I am allowed to stay for those 3 months? Thanks so much for your replies.
